For Sama: raising a baby in a warzone (C4/All 4)

Orang Utan

Psychick Worrier Ov Geyoor
This was on last night (Saturday 26/10) but it's on All 4 if you haven't caught it.
It's essential viewing, though not easy viewing it all, with multiple scenes depicting dead bodies, including children. You may want to look away during certain scenes, but remember that looking away is a luxury those trapped in Aleppo didn't have. Possibly the most harrowing documentary I've ever seen.
For Sama - Episode Guide - All 4
Anyone else see it?

Yeah watched it last night. Bit of discussion on it on the syria thread in world politics (nothing wrong with a thread in telly though). Harrowing, absolutely should be watched

I saw it at the cinema a few weeks ago and when it ended there was just a stunned silence for several minutes. I watched it again on my own last night and cried even more than I did the first time. Waad did some amazing reports from Aleppo when it was under siege and I made a lot of Facebook friends in Aleppo at that time, so the memories it brings back, particularly at the end when they are all forced to leave, are very painful. I can't imagine how it must be for those who lived through it.
