Football hooliganism is back in fashion

Can anyone share the article in full?

From the outside looking in, seems young lads are getting back into the idea of fighting or at least bouncing around at football. While I wouldn't condone it etc etc with modern football being so sanitised I can't say I mind the idea of bringing a bit of edge back, not least as most of it is just posturing anyway. Seem to be lots of social media pages sharing videos which seems to spur on the youngsters, surprise surprise.
Also, will Stone Island ever die? (No.)

Kind of a shame that working class lads are more keen on fighting each other than the class enemy but it is what it is I suppose. I don't follow football so don't 'get' the tribalism I suppose.

Indeed. I don't follow football or get the tribalism either. Trouble is hooligans don't always just keep the edgy atmosphere to the football ground...

Some of the younger Brentford fans are displaying dickhead behaviour both home and away, there’s a particular little ‘firm’ causing noise. The use of coke is quite obvious too at games.

It’s a shame that the only alternative to the mute, sit down, shut up, don’t forget to visit the megastore anodyne tourists are coked up wallies in expensive leisurewear bouncing around and occasionally being a pain in arse for peaceful folk.

Spurs v West Ham in December. Lots of ‘geezers’ running around clumping each other and generally shouting and hollering between WHL station and the ground. I’m sure it must’ve been frightening for some, esp kids. I’ve been around it all my football supporting life so can look on with amusement. I had been on the train with WH from Liverpool St. can confirm lots of beak being hoovered up in the carriages…

I remember two decades ish ago arriving at London Bridge station fancying a beer and being fairly surprised that everywhere was shut what with it being a Saturday and not a public holiday.
Discovered this was normal procedure for Millwall match day lol.

A refrain I've heard from fans of relegated teams numerous times over the years

I enjoy watching snooker or bowls but wouldn’t make a special occasion of either. And certainly wouldn’t punch my neighbour over it. And the guys who were inclined always struck me as twats although I have done some antfascist activities with some so they’re not all bad.

Reckon you'd get quite lairy with someone who dissed Ronny O'Sullivan mind

I don't think it ever went out of fashion with certain groups. Unruly behaviour and football go hand in hand.
True but then the policing and sentencing went mental. Seems after a quiet decade ish lots of clubs, especially lower leagues, have new groups of young lads going. A lot of it is an image thing and not much fighting (no bad thing of course).

i think there should be more violence at football. maybe those wanky fanzones could be turned into a legal brawling area or something organised on the pitch for half time entertainment.

Cage fight at half time, each side gets to pick a squad to go in. No weapons allowed except for blunt cutlery.
Medical expenses to paid for by event sponsors.

There’s a lot of anger in society at the moment and very few sanctioned outlets.
