I was watching Yamato 2199, which is a remake of the original Space Battleship Yamato. It was imported to the States and aired as "Star Blazers" in my youth. They've barely tweaked the theme song and I do think it's a good'un. I don't know if the dub ever made it to the UK or not. (I searched on Star Blazers and Yamato and didn't spot anything, so apologies if it's a pearoast)
