I'd forgotten all about Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea; I used to love waking up on a Sunday morning and watching that while I wrestled with a hangover. The crew of that submarine would've been fucked if it wasn't for those huge air vents that they hid in every week to escape whatever manace they were facing.

also shown in that time slot

LAND OF THE GIANTS!!!!!

Luna
Dr Who (old)
Battlestar Galactia (new)
The Wire (I have not seen it so I would like to know what people are on about)
Curb your enthusiasm
Snub (nicked from El Dub, but mine would be a new series)
Futurama (new ones please)
The Goodies

Pfft!

Lost in Space was the best Sunday afternoon show of that ilk

When I was a DVD reviewer I was given the box set. It had the pilot episode on there which didn't include the Dr or the robot!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! How the fuck did they ever expect that to be interesting?

For some reason many many years ago I aquired a GFY figure. It's still in it's packet in my loft somewhere. I didn't know it was from a cartoon. I saw a video a few years ago in a shop in NY, I thought it was an old school one off OVA.

it was a series of games and two sets of OVA

i have both OVA

the first ova is made of stupid jokes and barly repressed lesbianism ...

apparently the second one is darker inj tone... i'll be checking it out tonight

Summerhill?

Edge of darkness and Ultraviolet (the channel 4 vampire killing show)
would be good and some program involving the top gear team laughing at Americans would be good .

Summerhill?

yeah thats the one. wish I could have gone there. was just reading about it on wikipedia and its actually not only a wicked sounding place to go to school but also a really interesting social experiment.

I watched the "cyborg" episode, recently - featuring the wonderful Victor Buono (King Tut from Batman) as a mad nazi genius in a golf buggy determined to bring on nuclear holocaust by planting an evil cyborg on the submarine. Brainless, but brilliant!
