i actually made some last minute changes, after the deadline

therefore taking my 14 points to 6

look at the table, it tells you i made 3 transfers today

missed the deadline by about an hour

but have the quality i need all across the pitch

Jasskleiennsnsn (Bolton) as reserve? What was i thinking.

I'm off to elland road this afternoon and it is with great regret that I'm fully expecting to pick up some more ff points from the barcode players in my team! I haven't picked any Leeds players either.... :(
 
Well I'm second after the opening day, but I have broken butcher's golden rule of using my own team's players...

remember tho lads, its a marathon not a sprint.............

Today bought in a significant amount of points, glad I made Smith captain last night as he scored, I'm out of minus points and off the bottom. Had I not made transfers last night I could be doin' not as badly...

:D

Can't believe Robinson didn't keep a clean sheet, he's an awesome keeper... :(

Lazaridis (Birmingham) replaced by Newton (Wolves)
Greening (Middlesbrough) replaced by Berger (Portsmouth)
Solano (Newcastle) replaced by Izzet (Leicester)
Rooney (Everton) replaced by Henry (Arsenal)
Smith (Leeds) replaced by van Nistelrooy (Man. United)
Sinclair (Man. City) replaced by Cameron (Wolves)

Whilst I might be now at -17 I think it'll be worth it... :)

(Edit: butchers, the only Leeds player I have now is Robinson) :p :D

sudden run on berger here, quelle surprise. tho, obviously i've done the same thing meself (for de la cruz, great player, with the minor drawback,of never getting on the bench let alone the pitchg, d'oh!).

more cheapo buys to cover the cost of Mr B drag me down to 39th place, but I've a cracking team now that I'm confident will finish higher up the Tranmere this season!

Having a few thoughts over Shearer or Owen tho'...

Reckon Owen will pull through.

Just don't want a UEFA cup finish again :p
 
Not happy with the performance in week 1, but no knee-jerk reactions from this quarter.

One small transfer, will carry on tinkering with formation Ranieri-style...
