Me too, at least i will be when i can enter the site. Can't link to it at the moment. Printed the details out in work today though so i can plan my campaign tonight and enter it tomorrow.

It's a wee bit more challenging than the FF rules i've played in the past.

I reckon this year's set up is better than last year's on Yahoo. Hopefully the stats and points will update a lot quicker as well - last year took the piss a bit.
 
Hmm got my team sorted. But i'm only around the 75 point mark. Have i found some bargains or will i find my self completely up the creek :confused: Good job there's time to nudge things around... for me anyway! Off to register now, if i can get into it this time...
 
Bollucks managed to completely arse that up :confused: I wasn't 25 under budget but 20 over when i tried to register... not quite sure why :confused: Back to the drawing board :(
 
The registration can be a bit dicky to start off with ,a few of us were given other people's user names, but once you spend time fiddling it gets easier.

Ask here if you have probs!

You have 100 points to spend on a squad of 15 - 2 goalies, 5 defenders, 5 midfielders and 3 strikers. Take your time 'cos once you've submitted the team you can only change it by making transfers. I'm not sure how many transfers you can make up to the deadline on the 16th, but afterwards you can only make 1 transfer per game week for free. After that you will be charged 4 points per transfer. Good thing is you are able to make points on transfers :) .

Anyway everything is in the rules, which are pretty straight forward :p . Any questions just ask.

afaik you can change your team as much as you want before the first day...then the real transfer system kicks in

Seems to be the case, not that I keep changing my mind ;)

At the start, I found that I could go through the standard set-up team page to make transfers. Now you have to go through the trnasfer page. I hope I don't get docked transfer points in retrospect once the season starts :oops:
 
I wonder if RKB or someone from the first page can edit their post to include the above info in easy g's post. It would make it easier for folks who have not been following the thread.

fuck it. have got as far as trying to register and it wont let me :confused:

first it said that the username Rollem was already taken :eek: :( then it just wouldn't do anything when i pressed submit.

bloody poncey premiershite! :mad:
 
Ah it must be a glitch - I can't see how 'rollem', 'butchersapron' and 'ernestolynch' were all usernames which had already been registered. Carry on with it as far as you can go - you'll get there in the end.
 
Yay! Success! I finally figured it out and The L Team is registered.

One question. I mixed up my substitute defender with one i wanted in the team and i can't seem to change it.

Ahh, i'm probably having the same problem as butchersapron. Have to try again in work tomorrow.
 
Deportivo Medway have been signed up.
Dodgy midfield but I hope my oh so potent strikeforce will more than cover any losses made there.

Click the check box of the player you don't want in the starting eleven. (Box is now unchecked.) Click the box of the player you want to start instead (so his box is now checked.)

Now, click the "Change Team" Button in the immediate section below your team, and voila!...you've slightly reduced the deficit by which you shall be whipped........:p ;)
