The only thing I'd like to add is when they get royally fucked over for the next four years they'll be too dumb to realise it was Trump and his backers who were doing it. They'll blame anything else. Thing is mate the policies will work.Yep they'll push their policies and when they don't work (because they never fucking do) they'll be looking round for people to blame for the failures - preferably democrats and immigrants they've not yet expelled. And round it goes.

The tax burden on the rich will reduce and the overall public financial needs that the rich consider necessary will be shifted to everyone else to pay for. Mainly from direct to indirect taxes.
Also any 'burdensome regulation' (laws they don't like) will be removed.
The federal government will be further politicized like the SCOTUS already has been. See Project 2025. They've already stated their objectives in this agenda document.
The right are very disciplined and outcome focused.
The poor and marginalized will be blamed for the pain as per PR standard operating practice.

I was going to let this go as the other poster is a knob. But seriously why are you blaming everyone for Trump's win except the people who voted for him? There's enough people blaming them. And as we're seeing, again, that blanket doesn't cover the millions who aren't fascist nutters.

The people you are talking about are the ones that don't vote. No one voting for Trump wants real change no matter what they say, they just want to see someone else get shit on more than them. All saying they have valid concerns does is enable them and make them belive they are right even more it won't make them move away from Trump just push them even further into that camp.

Trump appeals because, despite his obscene wealth and trickery, he speaks to them.
Rightly or wrongly, a lot of his voters believe him.
The voters have spoken. Some of them are hard right, some of them are just voting for their "team" and some of them don't want the same old same old, so they go for a maverick.
Of course Trump is a shit but his promises are resonating. Whether he actually delivers or not is another thing.
