A prominent Satanist has given the opening prayer at a Nevada county commission meeting - sparking outrage among the members.

The address at the Washoe County Commission meeting on Tuesday ended not with an 'Amen', but a 'Hail, Satan.'

Hadn't noticed, but got it accidentally this morning trying NHK World (which is 286).
Seems a bit sinister that Freeview digital seems to be selling out to TV evangelists and alt right loons (not NHK which seems like a rural idyll in comparison).

Apparently Newsmax has been on that channel since last Sept., before that it was originally available within the Vision TV Freeview streaming portal, whatever that is.

At least they haven't pullulated FreeSat with it.
