I was about to say I’m sure I remember seeing him on US TV and him being a fairly regular telly doc, but on checking pictures I think I must have been thinking of someone else (had a mental image of a middle-aged black guy with a mustache and a bow tie).

He does seem to have been involved in some quite useful research, though.
