To be fair the last 20 mins were the most insipid from England's point of view. Thought they were lively 1st half and after half time.

I'll concede that I missed the good bits. I'm glad it wasn't representative of the whole 90 mins.

If England win on Monday, the likelihood is we get France, in Paris. We'll need to play a bit better to win that one.

I watched most of the game last night. Fuck, it was dour.

I saw the edited highlights (are there any other sort of highlights?) and Rooney trying to burst into the penalty area in the (legitimate) hope of winning a penalty can be considered the closest England came to getting a goal. Keeper never had one serious or difficult save to make. England looked shite.

Woy got it fairly spot on in the first two games. How he could get it so wrong in the third should be a worry for every England fan. Can't wait to see some of the players and their positions in the last 16.

i do agree but they have not been on great form 0-0 with the swiss etc
Italy come third in there w/c group in 94 still made the finals its all to play
