I was totally sober throughout
yeah, but you are a total nutjob so don't really count.
I was totally sober throughout
You're getting boring now. How many times are you going to repeat yourself?....the whole thing was shit....
I dunno, but I'd like to know what everyone was on and how much they had drunk because seriously, the whole thing was shit, I can see how you could confuse that with it being alright though if you were off yer face.
God, I'm glad I didn't bump into you........instant comedown.
Great little festival, best bits were the weather, Eat Static and ITs (saw a bit of both), Hobo Jones & Attila and the general vibe - oh and the dresses had me laughing all day on Sunday!! The Indian food stall was great too - Indian Invasion I think they are called, with the strapline Asian Grub Foundation, liked your chickpeas!
Worst bits were mainly the toilets, only cleaned once in the morning and not again pm, then not at all on Monday morning! Thanks for nothing! Seriously, if Wickerman, which I've been to twice, can do 2 cleans a day for 10,000 people, then please do take a leaf out of their book.
Other main worst thing was some stupid little kids next to us, woke me up Friday night when I was fucking comatose - THAT is why I shouted at you. Then I could hear you talking REALLY LOUDLY, LOOK AT ME EVERYONE all night Sat as well, that's how I know your names. So if anyone here knows or indeed is Sally and/or Verity you were a selfish bunch of cunts. Yes sweetheart, I know it was a festival, I've been going to them since before you were fucking born, because at 23 (ooh, she's a grown up!) you are a uni Schoolleaver, not a fucking smart woman. Fuck off cos you were lucky I didn't fucking kill you. Freedom at a festival is doing what you want as long as it doesn't fuck up other people's fun. All you needed was a bit of volume control, you did NOT have to shout all night. And at 23 you must have been surrogate mum, all your mates looked about 12.
Me too! Old skool, NO corporate shit . And it's the PERFECT size, really friendly, and just ace. Deffo going again next time.
word, apart from the curry, mine tasted like fucking cheerios the cereal, how the fuck does that happen?
* That hairy fella in the tutu
The weather makes a huge difference. I was a bit hesitant after last year's quagmire, but this time it was excellent.Me too! Old skool, NO corporate shit (the only advertising is for things like Mr. Wurzel's drumminge shoppe in Boscome etc. etc.) . And it's the PERFECT size, really friendly, and just ace. Deffo going again next time.
I reckon you would have loved it, especially Strummerville which was like another mini festival in itself. And yes yes yes, I've heard the vibe-not-lineup argument a million times (and Endorse-It is very good for that) but I still prefer to see a couple of name acts. I think they do well with such a cheap ticket price but I'd personally pay a bit more and have a couple of headliners that I'd like to see. There was only Mikey Dread on this year that interested me, really.
Someone in our camp was saying they thought they'd made fewer tickets available as there was more space in the camping fields. If that's true then they do well to get the acts they do on such a small ticket price (IMO of course )I reckon you would have loved it, especially Strummerville which was like another mini festival in itself.
It's a shame that they couldn't muster up one or two more interesting headline acts, but to be honest it didn't really matter because I was too busy having fun with my mates.
There was a psytrancey type band that no-one would go and see with me because they were psytrancey Oh! on Saturday night we were at the restaurant so it can't have been them.
I'm pretty sure most of the bands are doing it on a minimum budget.Someone in our camp was saying they thought they'd made fewer tickets available as there was more space in the camping fields. If that's true then they do well to get the acts they do on such a small ticket price (IMO of course )
Btw, what was it like from an MS point of view (or other conditions) ... saw what you said about the lighting
*waves* hello!!
Tbf, the lack of any bands I like on the bill was one of the reasons I didn't bother this year. At least last year there was Alabama 3.

You should email them about the lighting.effort. it's also hard to sleep at night while people are fucking around talking and doing music at their tents because the whole thing was so shit no one could be fucked to go to the arena, couldn't sleep in the day cus it was too hot, barely any shade, the ground wasnt lit up so couldnt walk around at night, not that I could walk around in the day anyways cus it was too hot. shit basically. it's gonna be different for everyone though init, saw a few people with wheelchairs caked in mud, fuck knows how they got them in, I did see a dude with 2 sticks, but I'm not sure if they were pretending to be a crip or not, no it wasn't jefe btw. and I saw someone with hackney downs, they looked like they was having a good time, you never can tell though init.
NoYou silly sod! Don't you remember sitting outside the wig on casino and me saying to you 'I'm going over to have a dance to that hippy shit over there ---->'

They had tickets on the gate! You're almost certainly right. I need a name or two to tempt me there in the first place though iyswim. Alabama 3 were enough last year.
When I saw the weather forecast I regretted not buying a ticket.
They had tickets on the gate!
If no-one tells them what's wrong how can they be expected to change it? They were very friendly and helpful to me when I needed it.cant be arsed, if they can't even think they *might* need to light up walkways theres no point.
Did you contact them before the festival to inform them of any particular needs you might have? They seem a pretty helpful bunch.cant be arsed, if they can't even think they *might* need to light up walkways theres no point.
