It's 3 nights, so the obvious pattern is easy, hard, easy. That's what I did, and I feel fine

Dubversion said:she actually told me - minutes after our first ever meeting - that i was punching above my weight by going out with Pie Face...

dolly's gal said:sorry for being so lame on sat/sun. really, i couldn't talk. i did see some of you around, but i had to hide in case you spoke to me, cos then i would've cried. i was made of lots of fail after friday night
PieEye said:most of the food staff I met were really hacked off actually - don't know if it was comedowns or what but the falafel woman had a face like a slapped arse and the mexican woman looked really unimpressed with the burrito she was making. Then I ate it and I was unimpressed too
I'm sure they were little rays of sunshine the rest of the time though....
dolly's gal said:ah see i don't remember this ergo it never happened
crustychick said:awwww, bless
you did leave your sandals and your sunglasses in my tent.... think i have the sunglasses still but no idea what happened to the sandals.....
It's all relative - the point is to keep something in reserve for the 2nd night, and remember at all times that the day times can be just as nice.crustychick said:Pfffffft - hard, harder, hard..... sheeesh - the yoof of today

PieEye said:Then we went to the toilet and that thing happened and then....
Dubversion said:i was up till 7am on Friday and Saturday, 4.30 am on Monday, and was out of the van before 11am every day.

dolly's gal said:Pieness - what is this?! i'm getting worried now! PM me if needs be!
Dubversion said:bit like cheg then?
Dubversion said:i believe it was mere seconds after the "well, this is a new low"! comment

PieEye said:It's not bad Dolly - it was just funny.
We went off to the bogs - I exclaimed that it was a new low and you sat on the floor (which was very very clean I will add) and I had a wee. You opened the door from the floor and it swung open to a bunch of lads who saw you crumpled on the floor, falling out onto the grass and me standing over you doing up my flies.
It looked ever, ever so wrong and they were nearly sick laughing
Iemanja said:Just remembered how desperate I was for some sleep on Saturday afternoon, I decided that if I took enough k I'd k-hole myself into sleep.
Didn't work at all! I ended up having the most boring k-hole ever, my brain was so tired it didn't have the energy to imagine an interesting k-hole, I was just in a box, it was a k-box, that was that...
Luckily there were lots of lovely urbanites around so I could hear their conversations in the far distance
Dubversion said:i think Parsley's point about a shop is a good one - a lot of people came on the bus, which limits how much you could carry. A farm shop - milk, bread, eggs, veg, fruit etc - would have been useful AND been a nice addition to the (ahem) vibe...
Onket said:I'm so tired, I'll have some K. More K needed. I'll just have some more. This is rubbish, I'm just in a box.
Dubversion said:no, i found that being there 4 nights
fairly hard / stupidly hard / quite hard / standing on my records washing down a pill with a bottle of rum at 3am
is DEFINITELY the way forward
William of Walworth said:But as EP said the shop should also sell CIDER!!
Crispy said:I had an awesome one on Sunday night - had loads of control about what I was seeing, where I was going etc. I made a load of little crayon-drawn men build a treehouse, then I was back in one of the festival tents, rearranging the fences, then I made mountains of marshmallows and blew them around with a leafblower - better than a box, that's for sure!
Iemanja said:I had a lot more fun during the day than at night!!!
Anyway, I'm glad I'm an old'un, I've nothing to prove, ..... I really don't mind being called a lightweight
