that was a great festival
I loved the size of it, meant that in the rain it wasn't a monumental mission to go and do anything. it didn't feel that there were 20 other things that you should do, which was a bonus when the rain kept you in for a bit.
I found the security to be pretty low key, the only search i got was of my cool box when we went in, guess they were checking for glass more than anything else. I heard about the bag checks on friday, but I presumed that because it was so wet on saturday (which was when I finally ventured out of the camping area ) they'd given up.
the best festival toilets I've ever seen too, the loo seats were nearly always clean and dry
big thanks to jefe and pie for supplying the tent and the lift - and thank you so much to wiskers for helping with the tent putting up! and for supplying a bacon sandwich at just the right moment on saturday morning.
highlight for me was the cropdusters being just as brilliant as I remember them, and hobo jones and the junkyard dogs were fun
lovely to see faces old and new, thanks to idaho and his lovely wife for the cocktails.
I'll definitely be back next year.
