... and also about the Security using dogs, allegedly/apparantly heavyhandedly, at the close of the Beer Tent, 4 am Monday morning. Did anyone witness this?

I was there around that time but didn't see anything. My mate saw what he though were coppers with some dogs so I guess we left just before. No need!

Didn't see any trouble all weekend though.

They were Security with dogs not coppers it would seem.

But yeah, fair dos, I was only flagging up the efests talk (which you were reading I think ) just in case anyone here had also seen anything. It does look like very few people encountered any bother which is reassuring. And last year, Security were absolutely fine in my own experience ...

I don't agree with dogs at festivals though, and was arguing that general point over there. Still, it sounds like this end of fest incident was an isolated one off ....

William - the security were i even walked past them waving my wristbanded hand, with a big spliff in it - and got a grin from a couple of them.

tbh, as far as i could see they just wanted people to show bands as they were coming through from the tent park place, to make sure you'd paid. which is fair enough i reckon.

I'm just looking out the window down here in Cornwall and I reckon we got off pretty lightly with the weather. The rain is torrential right now and there's winds of 60 m/ph on the way, apparently.

I hope the people going to Beautiful Days don't get this.
