Egypt anti-government protests grow

I'm not going to leave the economy in the hands of economists, I'm going to make sure it is sorted out myself.
 
Would he be doing this if the heads of the army were not behind him? (At least for now - early days of Ali's overthrow saw him arguing similar stuff).
