Dulwich Hamlet fans discuss how to bring the joy back to Champion Hill

Fuck that. Is this what the club has turned into? Absolutely embarrassing.

I hope away fans rip the fuck out of us for this. From grassroots community club to having a pro-gambling celebrity on the board and what are probably some of the highest priced drinks anywhere in football, including the Premier League.

Update: The Least And Most Expensive Pints In The Premier League Revealed

The pints of beer aren't a tenner though are they? It's not really a like for like comparison comparing pints of beer at othe football grounds to a pint of cocktail

I'm pleased it's being run by a local independent company, with an interest in the area and beer, like Gipsy Hill rather than some corporate entity.
Sure they will work out what doesn't work and what does in terms of the menu. If people want to spend a tenner on cocktails, it'll stay on. Personally, I won't,
but I like a Hepcat and as long as this has more capacity than the gazebo that it's replacing, can't see how it's a bad thing.

Wrote before I saw the posts above about the board, still points stand, I think

That menu board isn’t current.

They’re changing it for tomorrow and I’d expect it to have significantly less focus on the cocktail market.

Think the new bar look great and good to have another local brewer on board.

Apart from the spoons you'd struggle to get a pint of keg pale ale for under a fiver in the local area.

Also Gypsy Hill have tweeted they are doing a £4 a pint deal for ST holders at their brewery taps, details tbc.

Footnote they were charging £7 a pint in the Brixton Academy on Wednesday night, now that is pushing it

Prosecco at a football match and all the other nonsense on that board.

The next time Billericay and the like take the piss, I’ll be leading the singing.

Pretty poor if there arent cocktails. Cocktails are nice and presumably more profitable.

I suppose if they don’t “fit in” at football we can’t be that into equality.

There's a joke to be made here about Sex on the Beach but I'm far too much of a gentleman to make it.

I was at a game in Potsdam and the temperature hovered at a balmy -15. The atmosphere was helped by the copious amounts of free mulled wine being doled out. :D:D
I’ve had mulled wine at the game at Dortmund. With rum in it I think. Is that a cocktail?
