It's the same here. Girls do significantly better than boys on average at school here, and have done for a couple of decades. And black girls do a lot better on average than black boys.

Just emerging from the land of nod and only seen clips. Should have been knockout time for Clinton, but it didn't look like that. Trump did a good job of being Trump - used everything that's wrong with him as a person and as a politics. Haven't seen any figures - and the last week has certainly done him some damage - but the Debate might even have stopped the slide. If Clinton had played it better and hadn't got the albatross of Bill's behaviour/her part in it, this morning should have been the point the Republican defections from Trump speeded up. Doubt that will happen.

got to say, didnt see any 'excusing Trump' there, just a pretty logical comparison of Trump + Clinton's track record so far, which by the very nature of their respective roles / activities over the last 30 years, would always look infinitely worse ( in terms of backing murder/war/oppression etc ) for Clinton.

That's not to say Trump wouldn't have been even worse of course, with added helpings of misogynistic violence / rape etc on the side. ( See HRC's hubby for details.)

I was just watching a summary of the debate, contrary to what I read about the debate in the media before watching it I think that astonishingly he actually did quite well considering the circumstances.

That also says a great deal about media bias and how Clinton gets such an easy ride.

It was similar with brexit . A lot of people in polls obviously kept schtum because of the negative , judgemental reactions mainstream media, howling liberals etc had to their preference . I expect it'll be the same with Trump voters .

Despite protests from Trumps camp the debate hosts said there was nothing could be done about it and security couldn't be expected to kick him out .

And surprise surprise the debate hosts told them security would throw them out, on live tv if necessary . Major double standard applied on the clintons behalf .
