I'd hope that the EU would do more than just words. But it would be economic action, not military. I just don't see EU countries getting into a military fight with the US over Greenland. It's as good as lost already in my opinion, the only question is whether the EU/UK are prepared to create a stronger security apparatus for future threats.“They” are those who have the power to stand up to him. Denmark is part of the EU and Europe. People kissing his ring and bending over to kiss his arse especially in the US is not the way to deal with him. Stand up to him. He’s not invincible as some might think.
If a large country (eg France) goes far right Trump allied then of course it all rapidly falls apart.
