Does anyone know anything about housing for prison leavers?

Anyone? I'm trying to help my niece who's boyfriend is being released next week after a 28 day recall. I have absolutely no experience of this!!

Help with housing when you leave prison - Shelter England

The prison should refer you to a council's homeless team 8 weeks before release. You should get emergency housing if you're in priority need or vulnerable.
