Both fine - 7s can be a bit fiddly and some people use adapters that they sit on and are 12 inch size to make it easier to manipulate them - using a record weight also helps a lot with stability issues when cueing
There must be a set of Reloops I can get ?
Would yous keep a spare set of needles handy or is it rare they just break? And if so which type of needles would you recommend getting? Currently have the Numark CS-1's on mine, are these average good ect?
That's nice but where are the collect only ones from? As I suspect that is the reason they are low priced and any damage in the descriptions? And watch the other two that are having bids on, well actually just watch the one that has delivery with it.
You keep talking about "damaged" 1210's.That's nice but where are the collect only ones from? As I suspect that is the reason they are low priced and any damage in the descriptions? And watch the other two that are having bids on, well actually just watch the one that has delivery with it.

was just about to post regarding needles.
if your gigging, pubs/clubs... take your own. as old stylus damage the grooves in vinyl plus sound quality is not as good as it is coming from fresh pins.
I recommend ortofon concorde carts n stylus.
eta, although it does depend on what or how you play your tunes, ie; straight forward blends & mixes or turntablism/scratching.
Cheers, I know Piccadilly area so that with google should get me to a shop or two no worries. If anyone knows of particular shop worth going to in Manchester would be appreciated.
Got my train tickets sorted for London so looks like I have about 5 hours of record shopping before I have to meet up with me mate, by then i'm sure the shops will have kicked me out anyway for closing time.
I'm off to try a new shop in London this weekend, Vinyl Pimp, by hackney wick station... their catalogue is on discogs which is kind of nice, loads of reasonable priced 2nd hand stuff
