Disastrous family seasonal attractions and the never to be forgotten Lapland New Forest Theme Park

Sterling effort by the organisers of this gig :D

The event was described online as an interactive train ride through a glittering winter wonderland, complete with an interactive lighting and audio experience, fairy light tunnels, Christmas trees and music and customers could take home a keepsake bell.

But Danica, who'd made the two-hour round-trip from her home in Fife, was shocked to discover the train journey's 'interactive' element was a two-minute video of winter animals projected onto a screen.

Danica, a stay-at-home mum, said the whole event lasted less than 45-minutes and said the family saw more lights and experienced more enjoyment on their car journey back home.

Well, they do say it’s the journey that matters most :)

Matthew Fernandez, 38, who visited with his children River, nine, Lennox, six, and Winter, four, said the new Father Christmas was “nothing like the last one”.

He said: “This was just a guy dressed up in a cheap red suit with a blatantly fake beard and he wasn’t very talkative at all – he didn’t seem very jovial. It ruined the experience.”

"Tui took all of our money and had that policy in place that gives you the peace of mind that Tui's got your back, that they've got you covered and your life savings are in safe hands and your children can have the holiday that they deserve."
 Life savings - really?
