Today is a significant anniversary for the club. In January 1903 the club realised the 1902 Licencing Act made it illegal for them to sell alcohol. On 22/1/03 Thomas Freeman obtained a temporary licence to permit the sale of alcohol on a trial basis. 102 years ago today alcohol returned to the ground. Probably much to the relief of some of those who endured a turgid 0-0 draw with West Norwood that day.
