Cyclist Deliberately Smashes Car Window Over Baby

Even if he didn't know the baby was in the car, he shouldn't have smashed the fucking window.
Of course. I'm not defending that but the whole OUTRAGE of this story was the presence of the baby, because far worse road rage incidents not involving cyclists take place every single day.

Yes, I understand. You're choosing to believe what you read in the papers and aren't interested in hearing both sides of the story, or trying to get to the truth of the matter.
AHAHAHAHA! :D

Go on then. What's the other side of the story?

Perhaps you should read what I've written before steaming in? Why only ten minutes ago I clearly stated, "the cyclist should be taken to task for his actions."

I'm so sorry are people not allowed to comment on threads that are already running? I'll think about that before 'steaming in' in future. My humble apologies.
You think this is a minor incident and the discussion seems to be around whether he knew the baby was in the car. My point is, it really doesn't matter if he knew or not.

And my point is that I have never "defended" the cyclist's actions, so kindly don't try and misrepresent me.

What's your excuse?

My contention is the driver was out of control and endangered a cyclists life who while in shock was abused by a gentlewoman of Croydon and went into a rage and broke the car window, an hysteric reaction perhaps but one of thousands every year more often between simmering car drivers who spend their lives in traffic jams.

What, in your opinion, could justify it?
I'm not looking for a justification because I don't think cyclists should go around smashing in windows, but I'd like to get the full story as I'm not entirely convinced the version the motorist has given is as accurate as it might be.

That certainly would be similar to the kind of thing that goes on between car drivers every day, although cyclists are, of course, far more vulnerable. Road rage can never be excused though.

...... chased the vehicle to the next set of lights and smashed the window!
..caught up with the dangerous driver stuck at the lights is far more likely

Also if this was such a serious incident why did the disarmingly polite woman of Croydon get out of the car and take a fucking picture on her phone of the baby (potential road menace) 'showered' in glass.

Either there is no justification in smashing the window or there can be justification. I feel there is none, so any context is irrelevant.

Eh? Is this a joke post?

If you start road-raging in your car, cutting up cyclists then shouting abuse out the window. Don't be surprised if the other guy retaliates.

Too many car drivers think they can get away with shit because they are safely locked in their steel 4×4.

Surely the (quite justifiable IMO) outrage and discussion this event has ignited demonstrates how rare cyclists 'Going full Ronnie' actually is - and quite rightly, they should be lauded as such.

This is way beyond Ronnie, in fairness, despite claims by someone that it was a "minor incident".

How many people were injured? How many ambulances were needed? Was the car a write off? How much damage was caused? Compared to many of the road rage incidents that take place every year, this was indeed a very minor incident. Oh, but wait! A cyclist was involved therefore it's automatically a MAJOR STORY!
