Comet NEOWISE (C/2020 F3) visible over the UK

Grrr. Too many clouds. Couldn't even get a big enough gap to locate the plough.

Was looking out of the attic bed window and when there was gaps I could see more stars than I've ever seen. Probably due to lack of pollution.

What's the bright object in the south?

Probably Jupiter, south about 30 degrees up?
 
How's it going to be next week? Sunday I go on holiday to Essex where the sky is dark enough to see the Milky Way.
It will be above the horizon after sunset, until about 1am. But it is getting fainter and the moon will be full on Monday. You might still be able to spot it in binoculars.
