Collective - new left wing party?

A new one seems to pop-up every year, or two at most, I thought the Trade Unionist and Socialist Coalition was the most serious one, have they fallen out of favour?

Well with the right split (by reform) for the first time since the First World War and the left /progressive side of politics actually winning an election, albeit quite cynically, there was a danger the Tories my be kept out of power.

So I suppose someone was going to try and bring balance to the force…

In the lifespan of Urban there has been deep breath Socialist Alliance, Socialist Alternative, Socialist Labour, Respect, Left List, IWCP (?), Scottish Socialist Party, TUSC, Solidarity, Workers Party.....One more might not work.

A party whose only recognisable member is a 75 year old who failed in two general elections (with the last being Labour’s worst result since 1935). Sure this has a future!

The Green Party now has an ‘anti-capitalist’ faction. The two could join up and still amount to nothing.

What a joke.

I think we are close to the point where we just have to admit to ourselves that so called modern civilisation reached a peak sometime in 50s-60s and we are on an express elevator to hell....going down!!!

Though I despised him during his term he has grown on me since Id vote for a party lead by him over Starmer...knowing it would still be shit but in a different way.

That would be the lp's worst result since the 1930s in which they received significantly more votes than they did this year. The lp's worst result caused in no small measure by starmer's remarkably shitty Europe policy.

You forgot to mention Left Unity and the Independent Labour Network. It was the IWCA, by the way, which had nothing to do with Village People.
There was also the Breakthrough Party.
