Couldn't get much better than that tbh and nice to see Zuma ., Ake and that 17 year old on ( I was really willing him to get a goal). I think Costa will play but Schurrle should be fit again after his cold and for whatever reason we played man utd last season away without a forward with a weaker line up. Would be nice though to give them a tanking.

Back home now watching the Everton euro game on tv.

Cant wait for Sunday, United didnt look any good for long spells against West Brom the other night. If they give us control of the game at any stage its highly unlikely they will regain it.
 
Says something these days when we are disappointed only taking a point at Stamford bridge north . I thought we were in for maximum points for minimum effort . That draw only partially papers over the many cracks in Uniteds team tbh

A nailed-on penalty right under fat Phil's nose not given, Ivanovitch's first yellow was a joke and all sorts of pish going on elsewhere.

Nobody could possibly say United deserved the draw with a straight face.

United have dropped four points in six days, they scraped a draw at West Brom and then snatched another draw in injury time today.
Despite this they were celebrating like they had won the league or something. They have slipped so far down the radar.
Seven yellow cards given against us including Ivans two was a joke, we didnt play dirty, we didnt need to, Utd were too average.

I sound like im moaning but im not, the unbeaten run goes on, Costa to return, Shrewsbury up next :thumbs:
 
That was the best united have played this season...by a mile.

The fact is we gained ground on city.

It's a perfectly legitimate tactic as long as you don't account for referees screwing you over on your opponent's behalf.

Not at Old Trafford it isnt, you have to assume the ref is on their side and take it out of his hands.
 
My Nephew lives up that way and went to the game. He said that Shrewsbury gave us a better game than Utd did.

QPR up next, we need to be on our game, the win against Villa will have boosted them and they love to get one over us as we are West Londons finest:D Years ago one of the qpr fans held up a placard saying "We're richer than you". What happened there then?

Not that im fussed, we were great when we were skint :)
 
Watched the last hour in a bar in Portugal and whilst I am full of praise for Shrewsbury I thought a lot if our second team simply didn't cut it tbh. Salah and Schurrle didn't live up to expectations in particular although Ake and Christenson looked promising . Didier was immense .
 
Derby County away in the League Cup. Not easy, they're on fire at the moment as their position in the Championship shows (top).
 
CFC 2 QPR 1. Not as big a win as we expected but we were spoiled at the start of the season. I suspect the margin would have been bigger had Rio played for them lot, never mind.

Away from the heady heights at the Top of the League there's some big turnarounds in fortunes for Pardew (Newcastle) Big Sam (West Ham) and Alan Irvine at West Bromwich.
We face all three over the next couple of months, I wonder if it will be one of these that inflicts the first premier league defeat for us?
If it does happen at all of course :thumbs:
 
Played in fits and starts tbh but when we played we played very well. We just have to get used to teams trying to limit the damage tbh . To be fair QPR have looked a lot better since they dropped Ferdinand leaving him more time to promote his book and abuse people on twitter.

José won't put up with him much longer, he'll be shipped out.
That was the Maribor I expected at the Bridge the other week, a decent little team even though they were helped by some woeful performances on our behalf.
We need to sort out the mindset before the weekend, and the tactics José, that was the first time we looked all over the shop this year.
 
We only played in the last twenty minutes imo. Some woeful refereeing in this competition ( I had half an eye on the City game as well) terrible penalty by Hazard who otherwise was excellent and nice to see Rameires energy back in the team. Liverpool will probably bring us down to their level so I will be expecting a draw.
 
This is great, I'm loving it, motm for me yesterday was Matic or Oscar. Matic is really growing into things and expanding his role, Oscar has his form back....Hazard can surely be player of the year (and is, so far), Costa just keeps scoring and has amazing movement and presence, our defense (including back-ups) are formidable...we have two of the best goalies in the world.

This is great.

Your manager's not bad either. In fact, the only thing you lack really are decent fans.
