I can remember the city 1-0 defeat away in 2005, can't remember losing to arsenal , Liverpool will have beaten us in the league when they were manged by Benitez and we lost once at old Trafford

That seriously made me laugh. Costa looks like a real tough nut. He wouldn't have been out of place in the 69/70 squad.

Bit of a similar physique/stature about Costa and Dixon...this was at Fulham early in the season when Dixon was scoring plenty. Think we won 4-3 or 5-3.
But I have to say, one thing that is different about them. Diego Costa has a really spongy face. He might actually be from Sesame Street.

Well earned win today , we controlled the game and the only disappointing aspects were Azzis reckless lunge which means he is suspended for the United game and the fact we should have had three. Credit to palace supporters who , from the tv in the bar in portugal where I watched, made a really good din.

I enjoyed that game. A good reminder of how strong we are. Hazard loved every minute of it. He's my motm.
Not sure im buying into all this worrying lack of a centre forward for the Utd game, we dont need one with our set up, anyone can score from anywhere when we get going.
Ive not read too much on the Costa situation but i wouldnt be surprised to see him play on Sunday

If there is the slightest problem with Costa, leave him out. I agree he could probably play...I just don't think we need him on Sunday...I don't think Utd are a threat just now. After tonight I think we'll destroy them on Sunday. Not because we're awesome (which we are) just because of the feeling our guys will have after tonight. I'm assuming it's better than my alcohol-soaked smugness.
