I don't really care about any of that (although I do have an ad-blocker). I just don't want to use it, I don't want to endorse it, and I don't want to be a part of a platform that is so toxically destructive. I use plenty of other services that I'm sure track me and sell on anonymised data, but they don't bother me because they're not facebook.

All the better reason to make sure your ad-blocker is blocking all of the facebook tracking beacons on every other possible site. And usually just easier to block all trackers and social media trunnions by default because, by and large, they're as trustworthy as a Teesdale vehicular oculist.

(Not trying to wave my tinfoil hat around and preach too much, just wanting to inform people who are disgusted with the sort of behaviour FB gets up to and do want to have nothing to do with it whatsoever that merely deleting your account won't necessarily deprive them of the information - and money - they covet so much)
