I don't know what your lucky enough to have round your way, but only places I know which are close price wise are McDonald's and Burger King and its clearly superior. Well BK can be better, but I have so many ropey ones in unclean environments I've almost given up.
Plus work is paying so that's a win.

Done well they can be awesome, but they are to expensive to keep taking the chance. At least McDonald's have nailed consistency, even if the food is only average at best.
The last one I was in was minging as well. Food on the floor and it wasn't even that busy. Was starving and again not paying or I would have kept driving.

If you're eating in a Five Guys make sure you have a stiff drink before seeing the bill (Stiff drink from your own hip flask as well)
It was 30€ and some for two burgers, two beers and a large chips. We could have had a three course set meal with wine on a weekday not far away. But it made a change!
