Brixton Blither, Blether and Bonfire Blather - November 2012

Well I spoke to them and they say there was a flat up for sale but it's sold now.

This is possible of course but the board wasn't up on the 14th Nov and you can search recent sales on their website and it wasn't coming up on that either.

Anyway, they say they will take the sign down....

e2a: Yeah, that's where the quote is from.

Rubbish. At least they could give you a beer or something to eat. Certificate.

Yep. Totally agree.

Also it should be a food based challenge, they should make something a la Man Vs Food, not just flogging a sip of a dink that they've bought.

Foxtons are well known for putting up signs in random (shared block usually) places. Also for removing other agents signs.

Worrying for Brixton is they usually heavily flyer every property in town offering no commission sale/let for the first month a new office opens.

The condition of this deal is you can instruct no other agent for three months and you must display a sign unless the council does not allow.

they are just bastards. kept patronising me and asking to talk to the Northerner and a) the flat was mine and b) I earn more than him, so in terms of economic decision maker.... it was me! And we looked at a house on Claverdale they had listed and they just lied, and lied and lied.... so frustrating. wouldn't touch them with someone else's

(E2A- first world problems, clearly)

I get loads of their envelopes through the post. I now recognise them and they go straight into the bin unopened

There is a Foxtons sign outside my flats but I can't find anything on their site. :hmm:

Firstly I was affronted that someone had chosen them to sell their flat through, now i'm wondering if the cunts are just using peoples' properties as free hoardings.
Abbey put a for sale sign up on my house once. I called them and politely asked for it to be taken down. They refused on the grounds that my property was for sale and wouldn't take my word that it wasn't.

If you don't put them in the recycling you're as bad as them. Worse, probably.
I wouldn't go that far, but putting junk mail in the recycling (after removing any personal details) is IMHO the better option.

Get it right, next time. This thread will be as long as the unofficial one at this rate!

I do get it right. I put it in the recyling bag. If you don't behave, I may collect them all up and get someone to deliver them through your letterbox

I see, it's just typing that you have a problem with. Rather than refuse classification.

Can people please keep a look out for Jess, she's a much loved seven month old Cocker Spaniel who went missing from her home in the Brixton area on Sunday.

She lives near Coldharbour Lane/Myatts Field South
