This went well.
Average game, some good goals and some appalling refereeing. Two handballs in one goal, a lot of dangerous tackles went unpunished (Elano might well have broken his leg in that tackle) and lost control of the game in the end.
While there's no excuse for what CIV did and poor refereeing, it's hard for me to empathize when a team can't read the game. Instead of calming the players and give some space, Dunga was jumping up and down the sideline like a rabid monkey and keep putting down the pressure. A few minutes before the sending off, Robinho had another foot-on-ankle tackle after trying to make a completely unnecessary and mostly hopeless play after a free kick. Then, Kaka, who should have been taken off or put well off from hotspots was sent off after a maul.
But yeah, it's Dunga. Expecting him to do anything emotionally reserved would be almost like expecting him to dress in a somber fashion.
