best sites to find accommodation

so i have put a little ad in the flatshares thread but am overwhelmed by the amount of different sites to look for accommodation in London. I have signed up for prime location and right move and spare room but has anyone got more recent experience that can recommend any others? I have found gumtree full of scams and i found my current place through an agency but i don't have time to pound the streets like i did for this one and am also now considering a house/flat share which they don't often list. Any advice much appreciated.

I used to use Gumtree but it has deteriorated since the scammers moved in. I switched to spareroom, which seems to work fine. I've found housemates on there and also they have found me.

Move Flat is alot better as it's quite detailed. You ought to know by the time you've finished reading the ad whether it's worth contacting them. Because it's so personalised it attracts those who can be bothered to put the time in, normally a good sign.

It's been quite a while since I needed to use one, but moveflat was certainly better than the other options then.
