Best Posh Chocolate !

Maybe you should buy the Aldi chocolate and then make your own truffles? It's very easy, chocolate, butter and some cocoa powder.

Then you get extra brownie points because they are homemade.

Otherwise I'd probably go for M&S Belgian.

That sounds like quite the splendid idea Boudicca my darling and I may do a trial run, for quality control and Science 😊

Can't go wrong with a commedy Toblerone the size of a medium sized dog.

Otherwise a selection of chocs from Leonidas. If you can't get to a shop they do bespoke boxes. Hotel chocolate for middle class gifts and bars - the John Lewis of chocolate. Although I am partial to Lindt...

This place is an Achilles heal to me as they sell chocolate loose, its bloody lovely and very expensive. It is at Oxford Circus Läderach | Artisanal Swiss chocolate | chocolatier suisse

Not quite so bad, but still very expensive ( at Waterloo Station in the "sidings" ) is this place Neuhaus Chocolates | Inventor of the original Belgian praline
Spent £50 or ££60 in here last night, purely for personal medicinal use.
CFY. Well, you're bound to have something chocolate can help with

:D

I'm quite partial to Tony's Chocolonely, my local asda stocks it and its not cheap but I managed to get a few bars from ebay, to give as gifts.

I only really know their milk chocolate (in the red wrapper), but it's really quite good stuff.

I've got a bar of their pecan caramel milk chocolate stashed away in a cupboard for Xmas, my mum bought it for me. Prices on it vary wildly, from £2.50 to £3.99 a bar depending upon where you shop.
It is fucking lush, I've had the hazelnut one previously because hazelnut chocolate is my favourite. OH likes the sea salted almond dark chocolate bar.
Too expensive to be a regular thing, but a very nice treat.

Artisan du Chocolat's couture collection are my go-to posh chocolates (the rest of their range is variable in quality, but the couture range is top notch.

We had a box from Fifth Dimension last year which were really impressive - I think it was the Journey Box from here: Luxury Fine Chocolate Boxes - Buy Online | Fifth Dimension Chocolates
Thanks for this tip KB. I used them for my sister's present this year and they responded well when I fucked up the delivery address. They do gift wrap too.

Which did you go for? I have ordered Fifth Dimension again, the things they do with caramel are incredible...

I think your sister will be very happy. You should order some for yourself too though, they are too good to be wasted on other people really

Why should there be guilt ? It's Christmaaaaasasss 😃
Because Green and Blacks was taken over by Cadbury. The cadbury workers got thrown out on their ear, no consultation when they got taken over by a shit american company.
Sorry, but thats what happened.

Ah !! Oh well that's explains things then 😊

I went for Monty Bojangles and Mathez in the end.

Anyone tried Tony's? Always seems pricey when I've seen it in the shops. Curious as to whether it's worth it or not.

There was a discussion about it earlier up the page :)
