Digby, the biggest dog in the world with Jim Dale. I base this recommendation entirely on it making me cry a river of happy tears in about 1979.

I remember filming a young woman for a TV show about OCD and she said she watched nothing but dog films. Turner and Hooch was her favorite, but I think she also mentioned the ones above. She did say that she even liked shit films though as long as it had dogs.

There have been many versions of The Call of the Wild..
My favourite is the Charlton Heston 1972 one..

Black Mirror’s Metalhead. The one where Maxine Peake is chased to death by endearing Boston Dynamics robodoggies.

That is the direction that they should have taken with Pudsey The Movie.
