Beatherder 2010 - 2nd-4th July

Just got an email from beatherder see below:

Well, seems we're having a few issues with the website. A
massive amount of traffic just hit us.

Tickets have not been launched and we'll hold off till 5.00pm
when hopefully all will be resolved. If you're frantically
pressing refresh please hold off for a bit till we get on top of
this.

Keep your eyes on your emails and we'll update if need be.

It would be nice to save a few bob specially as I'm getting son and gf tickets as well! I'll be lucky if they pay me back :)
 
Latest update as follows - so cook that Shepherds pie soj :)

Right, Steve the webman pushed aside his gravy and turned off
skisunday, jumped in his charabanc and has now arrived at website
HQ. He's twiddled some knobs, adjusted the frequencies and is now
just uploading www.beatherder.co.uk to a different server
(this ones housed in a hollowed out mountain in Arizona).

This is taking a little time and he's got to do some testing,
so the new launch time will be 6.00pm

I'd love to if I was going but tickets were for my son and his mates. Typically disorganised though, someone's just pulled out or some such drama. Doubtless it'll be tomorrow before their plans are sorted.:rolleyes:

heh - i am getting those emails, but it helps that you're posting them too :D

shepherd's pie is now half done, and it appears I have loads of time :D

I've just managed to get on to the beatherder site, but all it says now is tickets available soon. Does anybody know anything more?
 
Me and wolfie were trying at the same time but I was a couple of minutes behind him. When I got through the ticket price had gone up to £70 but luckily wolfie had manage to by 3 by then.

Off for a bath and some fun to celebrate ;)

ANyway, doesn't matter got 4 x 70's woooo! fourth Beatherder this time Can't wait!!!!!!!! :)

I got the 55's :D you can blame me I had a couple of tabs up and kept trying them both until I got through :D

Hells bells, thats just mental. 600 early birds flipped and flown the nest in less than 10 minutes!. Well done you lot who managed to get them. Never, in our wildest dreams did we think our Beat-Herder baby would be so in demand

Never mind, I did get two tickets anyway - just not the bleedin early birds

Full pricers secured for us, I was poised at 4, poised again at 5...then missed out on EBs at 6, ah well, £70 for a full weekend of Beatherder is a bargain and the price of a campervan ticket leaves a nice warm glow as its completely reasonable (same as ours at Bearded Theory)

Bring it on!!

another one of my mates is coming this year - she's had her head turned by me raving on about it :D
 
600 tickets sold in under 10 minutes :eek:

No wonder they had problems with the site, one every second.
