I used to be a regular at the Batcave in Gossips. I played there quite a few times too.

I think (it's all a bit hazy).
 
If they add Alien Sex Fiend I'll go.

(or Test Dept - never quite worked out how they ended up on the Batcave album :D )

I think I've got some pictures of the Batcave when it was at Gossips. They used to hang lots of little plastic bats from the ceiling.

Oh there used to be an utterly horrible bouncer at Slimelight who would kick the shit out of people for sitting on those manky stairs. Threatened me with a beating a few times.
Anyone used to go to Full Tilt on a Friday?

The one who kicked me out told me I could sit outside for a bit untill I sobered up but I wondered off !
 
I did the slimelight (mac who started slimelight was a regular at the kitkat)
I went to its precursor the iranian embassy squat, then the chursh in Holburn, then the bank at Angel, i missed one of the other locations before it moved to its current site, but went there (Angel) for a few years.
 
used to go to Slimelight & Full Tilt regularly, slimes was much the better of the two. Still not as much fun as Cheapskates tho

Yes. I was there pretty much every Friday. Its where I met (years ago) the people who introduced to this place. I never had a bad night there. :cool:
 
I worked the bar at Full Tilt 1984/5, after work we'd go to the Kit Kat, Hippodrome, Embassy (was that where Kinky Gerlinky's was?) and assorted fly-by-night clubs in Soho basements or damp arches. Anywhere that we knew the door and got our names down basically. :D (Hell, I even went to Stringfellows once. Like Hell but more expensive.)

Dirtbox was a fave on a Sat (I think) night.

Don't recall ever going to Gossips or the Camden Palace. There was probably a reason for it, neither a Goth or a New Romantic I guess... and couldn't get in free.

Ooh ooh, the Fridge in its original incarnation, round the corner from the Academy.

And The Bell pub, somehow nights always seemed to start at The Bell.

edit: almost forgot Slimelight, didn't much like the place but when all else failed... I knew the staff so it was a cheap night out.

edit again: hmm, this might have been meant for the other thread... nothing to do with the Batcave I'm afraid :D
