The conversation has moved on since I've been away, but I meant: why was this news in UK? News in Germany, obviously. And it seemed (to me then) clear that it was news in the UK because people were quick to make the ISIS connection even before the evidence was in. Attacks on public transport are not uncommon but hit the international news when the perp fits a certain profile. (It's like the time when Alsatian dogs were always biting babies. There was a story every day. The reports seem to have died down since, but the biting continues.) The news reporting is adding to the terror narrative.
