Yipchaa!
Who said it first? (As in, in reality, not the other thread)
Wait, you could be right there, 4 in total.

Yes, yes, we're all back on the same page now. Everything got a little excitable, ok?
Good point.10pm hardly strikes me as the optimum time for the human body to perform at its best. How fast would they be at 10am?
But it was 4pm in Jamaica.

No, generally I'm never on the same page after that.Is that what you say after showing people 9.63 secs of excitement?
They're the only ones allowed to advertise etc. Stupid innit, pretty much counts for fuck all. See about Dr Dre's headphones? Guerilla advertising, they gave non-samsung etc phones to team gb, dusguised with union jacks
whole lot's a loada bollox tbh
I know every Olympics 100m final is hyped up, but has there ever been one so hotly anticipated.
What has that got to do with it? The Jamaican athletes will have adjusted to British Summertime. But it was 4pm in Jamaica.

Grrr! I can only get text commentary at work so can't see this. Well done himWow, our discus thrower was rather happy with his third throw
One of the favourites for the 1500m - Taoufik Makhloufi - who comfortably won his semi-final - has been thrown out of the Olympics for not trying in the 800m, which his national team tried but failed to remove him from.

Christine Ohuruogu really is astonishing. To put it in context: a month ago, lots of people were still saying she shouldn't even be in the GB team because she was too slow, there were others better, she is past it etc. And yet she is disappointed with silver! That, my friends, is a winner. That's why she has a world championship gold and an Olympic gold and silver. Absolute self-belief.
She executes her plan perfectly too. Times it to perfection and runs through the field, time after time. Not the best on paper but a fantastic big-match racer. It was almost a carbon copy of four years ago.

Fuck's sake, why do they make it so blatant?! At least complete the fucking raceThe 24-year-old completed barely 200m of his heat before quitting.
Still feel dodgy about her and the drugs tests many years ago. With some sporting bodies, missing a series of tests is worse than failing one.
