In a way Wenger has united Arsenal fans: every Gooner I know thinks he's long outlived his usefulness, and needs to go, for the good of the club. It will be so sad - considering his absolutely huge contribution to both the Club, and to British football, but sentiment is also finite, and letting him stay on is doing huge damage to this club, and this team.

Yep, sacking him at any point over the next 2 months will have no bearing on their league position. But, presumably, the only way he even has the choice of staying as manager is if they win the Europa League. Even reaching the final won't/shouldn't save him. But he deserves a good send off. As a Man Utd fan, I always quite liked him in those years when we were title rivals, but he hasn't got much dignity left now.
