danny la rouge
More like *fanny* la rouge!
Ooft, no, sorry boys, I couldn’t listen past the point the auto tune kicked in big style. It’s great you’re still rocking. But not for me, thanks.
Eye witness reports amd everything on the Hackney thread.I should imagine it's the multimillionaire exiles who really are best placed to capture the spirit of Hackney.
The new single
I Can’t Get No Statins ActionIf I've understood the lyrics of the new single correctly it's I Can't Get No Satisfaction, the Viagra years
He’s not a boomer, though. He was born in 1943, during the War. Boomers were born after the War, by definition."Why you angry with me?" whines entitled boomer over plodding dirge.
Well now.

agree, embarrassing, old enough to be any of their grand daughters... dirty old man vibe especially when combined with the lyricsAs for the typical video style...girl a quarter the age of Mick et al..girating in a red car.... ..old..out of touch...not for me I'm afraid.
Probably are, it worked for ABBA why not the Stones?Sounds like Micks voice has been digitally altered.

Mick et al all look like AI versions of themselves.

True and truehmm so you mean the 80 year old man who married to a 36 year old . don't think you going to get many people saying he is not dirty old man
but the billboard with deaging effect across Thier back catalogue images was nicely done

Tbf , we all dress like Mick'n Keef in HackneyI should imagine it's the multimillionaire exiles who really are best placed to capture the spirit of Hackney.
Yes, my point was that their fans might have been boomers, but they weren’t. The people we listened to were boomers. Johnny Rotten is a boomer. Joe Strummer was a boomer.Yeah alright clever clogs, he's from the "silent generation" then
Oh if only.

You have to make a bit of an effort to listen to 'as tears go' by or 'let it bleed' or 'wild horses' which you hear never otherwise. Sympathy for the devil isn't played anywhere near as often as it deserves to be either.I have no interest in listening to them now and that new single is bobbins, but if I had heard Paint It, Black or Gimme Shelter in the 60s I'm pretty sure I would have been blown away. At this point they're kind of drifting outside of their own time with a back catalogue that includes a few great bangers. I never make an effort to listen even to those because you hear them anyway, but I wouldn't deny their power and influence at the time.
Whereas we ought to pick just one of them to copyTbf , we all dress like Mick'n Keef in Hackney
