Are culturally Marxist social policy and neoliberal economic policy two sides of the same coin?

If neoliberal economic policy progressively specialises a society according to the needs of mercantile interests in a way which implicitly sacrifices the traditional surviving cultural character and population of a nation state multiculturalism being the result, then is culturally Marxist social policy (multiculturalism) the inevitable consequence of neoliberal economic policy?

You're fucked in the head, not least because if you think multiculturalism is a consequence of neoliberalism your chronology's all over fucking shop

Before we can offer any answer to this question, we must first question its premises. and its terminology. it's the urban way, you know.

"cultural Marxism" ffs. Anders Breivik's favourite excuse for what 'provoked' him into massacring a bunch of schoolkids - sorry, "cultural Marxists' in training. if one of its basic ingredients doesn't even exist, the question is unlikely to be meaningful.

translation: dilberto is asking (in finest jargon) whether globalisation inevitably means multicultural societies forming, and hence societies being led into some movement towards more general anti-discriminatory attitudes.

the short answer - on all counts - is a simple NO.

(and marx has nothing to do with it.)

"Cultural Marxism" is wingnut talk, loaded language used pretty much exclusively by the sort of people that Anders Breivik was inspired by.

Like when someone starts talking about "suppressive persons" you know they're either a Scientologist or have had a lot to do with Scientologists

So it immediately implies that the person using it either is part of or has been exposed to a far-right milieu to the point of using its characteristic terminology.

:hmm:

I think you're on the wrong website.

it's utter bollocks and suggests that the person using it has at most half a brain.
