Apple TV+ recommendations?

I ditched Disney mainly cos I don’t want to be assaulted by Trump’s face every time I visit the platform. I need to control my environment to minimise stress, so that means my house is necessarily Trump-free.

I don't understand the point of boycotting a streaming service tbh.
Well no, not if you’re trying to make a point or send a message to the service provider. However if you want to save some cash, or you don’t enjoy their programmes, or it just makes you feel better, for whatever reason, you’d be an idiot to give them your money, wouldn’t you?

Oh I get that, but I think I'd have to throw my telly and probably my PC too out the window to achieve a status free of seeing/hearing about Trump.
And possibly just wrap a duvet around my head and scream for several hours in horrified rage.

Er... yes? But that isn't what was mentioned.

I’ve managed it quite well over the past 8 years or so. I saw a few seconds of him being shot last year and on Friday, my dad had the radio on in the kitchen and I accidentally caught a few seconds of his inauguration speech, but I hotfooted it out of the room speedily. So call it twice a year and only by accident.

Aye, think it may be a good and positive thing to dump all of the streamers and buy a Bluray and just watch films and the odd tv show on that.

That's really good going!
