Anyone here not seen a second of the Olympics yet?

I know let's do a thread on not watching the Olympics in the Olympic sub-forum, it'll be really clever, funny and original.

Sorry I spoke! I was just curious. I'm not anti-Olympics, I just haven't got round to watching any of it yet. What's left?

Sorry I spoke!

:D

It's been a funny day, people coming in telling us things we really didn't know about China, and that the athletes are mad on drugs, particularly the British one, but definitely all the winners and possibly all of the athletes in the world ever going back to them days.

And if we disagreed we're flag-waving nationalist scum.

:hmm:

For your information, you've missed out on a lot.
What have I missed then? I got slightly excited at the prospect of the track and field events, but kind of forgot to watch them - the highlights are on at 7pm and if the telly's on at that time, it's the news that gets watched.

I haven't either. I made a decision, I got laughed at for it but I've stuck to it.
Good for you :)

I haven't even clicked on any olympic threads, i don't enjoy being bored to death. Whats wrong with voicing an opinion about it though? :hmm:

i have, up until 4 the last two nights, lucky i'm between jobs:cool:

i can't help it, i know all the arguments against the olympics, but i've loved it since i was a kid:cool:
What are the arguments against the Olympics? (Apart from it being in China)

Me

Bores me to bits

Although, strictly speaking, I have probably watched at least ONE second of it, in between flicking channels - that's enough for me
