There's something going on at Trafalgar Square which I thought I might go down to but decided not to because it's cold and I don't want to travel in rush hour and I can't be arsed. Also I have a suspicion there will be Syria loons there.

Pro-Assad/RT/Beeley types. The last time I was down there was in 2017 and, while there was quite a selection of different causes there and many people were perfectly sound, it was very conspiratorial generally.
OTOH maybe I'm being unfair - I think the anon thing has changed for the better over the last few years and I've seen some quite positive stuff about them from e.g. HK and Tibet campaigners. I'd be happy if it turned out that I was completely wrong.
