It was Chelsea fans that did it, not Liverpool fans

Honestly I think there must be a conspiracy against Liverpool and its supporters, they are always being blamed for stuff they didnt do, they are always being victimised.

:D I'm scared to ask why.
He takes the piss out of Latinos. If you substituted Black or Jewish for Latino there'd be an outcry.

eta. For some reason his twitter followers thought one of my kids was Latin-American when she said his humour was off-colour. She got loads of really nasty racist abuse.

Ah OK. I've never really noticed it but then it's not me he's taking the piss out of.

a national stadium should have been built further north than london. somewhere in the middle of the country. preferably to the west as the majority of teams in the premier league at the moment are from lancashire (inc. former lancashire) and the west midlands.
Oh yeah, all those well supported premier clubs in the region like Bolton, Blackburn, Wigan etc. Who are the West Midland premiership teams? Aston Villa and Stoke? I don't understand what premier league clubs have to do with anything. Perhaps we should've built it in a place with transport infrastructure able to cope with 90k people?

how about man u, man city, liverpool, everton? midlands, wolves, stoke, villa, albion.

there are more football fans in the north than the south. fact.

Refusing to play on a particular date, to the unfair detriment of other teams, is unsporting and therefore an insult to all those sport fans Liverpool claim to be commemorating.

What has the venue got to do with any of this? Have the semi at Wembley and more fans can go. Some people are more in to tradition then common sense. We don't exactly live in the largest of countries and it shouldn't be hard to organise a coach if the trains are too expensive.

The reason this is a problem is because the Met wouldn't allow the Chelsea game to be played Friday night and the FA INSIST on semis at Wembley.

You've obviously never been to new Wembley. It's expensive and shit. And the part about more fans being able to go is arse. They use Wembley for semis a) to pay for the fucking thing and b) so they can give out loads of tickets to the UEFA family. Which is part of what makes it shit.

The cheapest ticket for these games is usually around 38 quid. When BOTH sets of fans have to travel right down the country (and don't think train prices don't skyrocket as well) it's fucking expensive. Before you even start.

The FA ought to give more of a shit about fans in this country. They should look at where they're travelling to and from and play the semis accordingly. There are decent grounds all over the country. Personally I like Villa Park for semis. But they won't. Because the fans are the last people that the FA are concerned about.

BTW the reason Liverpool don't play on the 15th is because they hold a service at Anfield the ENTIRE staff attend. I think that's a good thing. It doesn't seem other clubs have a real problem with it either. Just gobshite fans having a pop.

Which is daft because if you want to have a pop at the scouse the season they've had is ammunition enough. :D

Villa Park for semis? a 42k ground rather than a 90k ground? Really? Deny fans tickets, and if there are less tickets don't you think prices will increase? What sort of fans will be snapping these tickets up I wonder? £38 is average for a premier league game, a QPR mate has spent £52 to go to Chelsea away! All tickets are a rip off, you can't blame that on Wembley.

As for travelling the country, fans do that every weekend, I'm going to Carlisle on Saturday! :) Train and match ticket combing to a combine £52. Lower League > Premier League.

More football fans up North than down South? Possibly, but that's got nothing to do with premier league teams.
