RAF jets scrambled after bomb threat on board plane flying over London
The huge passenger jet was escorted into London by two RAF Typhoon fighter jets.
The airline tweeted that it had made the precautionary landing in London shortly before 10.30am today.
It is not yet clear whether it is connected to a sonic boom widely felt and heard in Derby.
Stansted Airport and the Ministry of Defence has been approached for comment.
