‘Searchlight South Africa’ - alternative analysis and political reportage on ANC/MK, the wider liberation movement and the frontline states

WATCH OUT, GEORGE, HE'S GOT A SCREWDRIVER!
I recently watched Escape From Pretoria, about a prison break by three ANC cadres in the 1970s, which led me to the book it was based on, a memoir by participant Tim Jenkin (PDF), and thence onto Digital Innovation South Africa, which holds an archive of 11 of the 12 issues of Searchlight South Africa.

I first came across SSA about 15 years ago, when I picked up a couple of issues in a second hand bookshop in Aber. There were many very interesting articles about the ANC/MK, the wider liberation movement of which it was a part, and the camps in the neighbouring frontline states in which its combatants were trained - and sometimes imprisoned. The pieces on the Angolan camps, and the situation in SWA/Namibia, were particularly eye-opening.

Does anyone have a PDF of issue 1 which they can share?
