Actually no. In my other life I am a film critic. Just go to IMDB and check the list out. You should also go to the External Reviews and choose accordingly. Roger Ebert is excellent
Here's one I suggested:

...films so far, Cry Me a River and 24 City. I have quite a few more ready to watch.
I found 24 City fascinating. Here is a synopsis fromfromIMDB (because I am rubbish at describing films):
Jia Zhangke belongs to the 'sixth generation' of Chinese cinema...
Marcia Gay Harden - she's in series two of Damages playing a character about as far removed from that as it's possible to get. According to IMDB she won a best supporting actress Oscar in 2001 for Pollock (never seen it).
I would concur with that - I felt Shoot 'Em Up just did not pull me into the story in the same way as Crank - it felt turgid, despite the migraine-inducing editing; I felt conscious that this was a film all the way through, and the pacing felt thoroughly artificial. Whereas the Crank films, for...
sounds horriffic from the imdb thing, anyway, I know that Orwell's works are public domain in Canada, not sure abut the States:confused: I know a lot of people are against the Mickey Mouse Copyright act (can't remember what it's really called) but this is a case for the defence:hmm:

I've just remembered, recently I rented The Blockhouse, having come across it whilst browsing IMDb.
It's about a group of forced labourers in France who find shelter in an underground bunker during a bombardment at the beginning of Overlord; they get trapped there. It features Peter Sellers...
Strange Circus - earlier Sion Sino (who the imdb have suddently taken to calling Shion Sono), and another one on the hemse of incest and sexual abuse. Bit of a disjointed mess really but you can see the elements that went into Love Exposure are there to see - so worth a loook.
Police -...
This gives some of the details but doesn't convey the true horror. They tried to divorce it from any political context and make it cute. And they tacked on some bullshit ending where the farm is taken over by a wholesome-looking human family with the animals vowing not to re-create the mistakes...
Just finished watching season 1 of Homicide: Life On The Streets and was continually distracted by familiar faces. Spotted D'Angelo as well as Orlando (the club owner) from The Wire, a few others I couldn't place and have been bugging me since.
