mind you when my ma's ex went with Saga for his car insurance I mocked him by doing ThoraHird on a stairlift impressions. But he sat me down and showed exactly how much he was saving as compared to the likes of me getting car insurance elsewhere. I wasn't laughing then was I.

What other 'isms' do people face when looking to join bands? I imagine that a Chinese ThoraHird type woman wanting to join a boy band like One Direction could face ageism, sexism and racism?

I suppose this is possible. I didn't see Thora, but she's not a big woman, and may have been crouched down, lest she be recognised - A hit and run conviction would have meant the loss of her contract with Stannah Stairlifts.
