Worst cover version in world...

Didn't Celine Dion take the crown in a recent poll, for her Las Vegas cover of an AC/DC tune?

PICTURE yourself...

On a BOAT...

On a RIVER...

Surely William Shatner's version of 'Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds' coupled with his 'interesting and creative' version of 'Hey, Mr Tambourine Man' takes the prize?

Although I'd also give a mention to Leonard Nimoy's 'Ballad Of Bilbo Baggins' as well.

Yeah but he redeemed himself with his version of Common People with Joe Jackson....

According to google its celine dion's ACDC cover of "you shook me all night long".....

cant even bring myself to listen to it

talking of bad cover versions I thought Jervis Cockers "Bad Cover Version" video where he used a bunch of no talent lookalikes to recreate a charity single was pretty much the mutts nuts ......

Not too sure if they got the joke though .

Surely they're genius for ironic value alone?

Any cover that doesn't try to fuck up the original in some way, shape or form is criminal in my book.

Covers are best when you spunk on their faces.

That was an amazing documentary. The version of Coldplay's "Fix You", of all things, was remarkably moving.

Yeah, I agree about the documentary. A great song by them is I Wanna Be Sedated, but it looks like there were copyright probs: it's gone from Youtube.
